The EEPN is a forum for policymakers and policy researchers to discuss and analyse European policy affecting education. One of its key goals is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and research among its members.  Meetings and events play a central role in this process and the EEPN organised a series of events in 2007and 2008.

In 2007, the EEPN organised a series of inter-linked conferences that brought together policymakers and policy-researchers from across the world, and opened up a dialogue about the theories, methodologies and priorities for European education. The three meetings produced a range of conference papers and paved the way for future discussions. Selected contributions to this conference series will appear in peer-reviewed special journal issues in 2008/9.

For 2008, the EEPN has focused on meetings of cluster groups of members who are interested in particular dimensions of European policy developments. These sub-themes have included: citizenship education in Europe; European policies for higher education; and internationalisation and globalisation in education.

No meetings have been announced for 2009 as yet; but to ensure you are notified about future events, please sign up to the EEPN mailing list by sending an email to: info {@} educationpolicy.eu
